New data added: distribution of threatened mammals in Portugal.

The Atlas of Portugal’s Mammals was recently published online and contains distribution data on marine and terrestrial mammals (excluding bats). The authors gathered both recent and historical data and made them available online.

The “Threatened species” section of HABEaS now contains data on the distribution of terrestrial mammals whose conservation status is Critically Endangered (CR), Endangered (EN), Vulnerable (VU) and Data Deficient DD) to the “Threatened species” section. This includes the Iberian lynx (Lynx pardinus), the Iberian wolf (Canis lupus) and the wildcat (Felis silvestris). Click here to visit the WebGIS.
